The States of Guernsey has been working closely with disability organisation AccessAble and a number of charities in Guernsey to produce a free bespoke training tool for anyone in Guernsey to access.
- The disability essentials course is a practical and engaging course which will give you the knowledge and skills to provide a great service to disabled people and their carers. It includes videos of the lived experience of those people with different disabilities.
- There are five modules.

- Providing a great service for everyone
- Language
- The whole course takes about 1 ½ hours, but modules can be done one at a time, depend on the time available.
- There is also now a Disability for managers course which can be accessed through the same training account

- Introduction- Legislation, Protected Grounds, definition of disability and carer status.
- Types of disability discrimination and other prohibited conduct

- Reasonable adjustments for employers
